I am a freelance director and cinematographer based out of San Francisco, CA. Executive Producer of Under the Canvas web series.
At my core I am still a curious ADHD middle school teen, who was always told to sit still and be quiet! At the time, my condition made me lack confidence. I found my voice after creating my first film, about my son 16 years ago in a college class. I saw how powerful film could be at connecting emotionally with people and from that point on, I knew what I wanted to do!
I am a self taught filmmaker who managed to build a career while raising my son as a single dad. While at the same time, I was working towards earning a BA in Psychology. With a little luck and a lot of determination, I landed one of my first jobs creating graphics and animations for The Archives Vol. 1 Blu-ray for Neil Young under the creative direction of Toshi Onuki.
The rest is history, and now I continue to weave intricate stories, stunning visuals and music in a cinematic way. During the past 15 years, I have worked for various production houses, boutique full-service Ad agencies and my own productions.
My short documentary, Marcie’s Story, won the Internationally Acclaimed 2014 Davey Silver and 2015 Telly Bronze Awards.
My latest short film, Saving Coco, helped Marin Humane raise more donations than any other film featured in their past Galas.
My equipment: Canon C100 Mark II, 5D Mark IV, DJI Ronin M, Ronin S and DJI Mavic Pro 2. (Please contact for a full list of gear available)
